Zelgra-180 is an anti allergy medicine which is used in the treatment of allergy and its symptoms such as runny nose, congestion or stuffiness, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, swelling. This medicine also helps in treating skin allergies. Zelgra-180 tablets may be taken with or without food in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. The dose you take depends on the severity of your allergic condition. For better results, complete the course and do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor.

During allergic conditions, our body releases a chemical substance called histamine. Histamine causes symptoms such as blocked or runny nose, sneezing, itchy or watery eyes. Zelgra-180 tablet works to give relief from these symptoms by preventing the release of histamine. This medicine is used to treat allergic conditions like common cold, sinus, hay fever, conjunctivitis, and skin allergies like hives (urticaria). Do not change the dose or stop the medicine by yourself as it may make the treatment ineffective and cause side effects. Along with this medicine, follow self care measures such as maintaining hygiene.

It is not yet known whether it is safe to consume alcohol with Zelgra-180. If you drink alcohol, consult your doctor prior to buying this medicine.

Pregnancy (Consult Doctor)

Zelgra-180 tablets may not be safe to use during pregnancy. There is a limited research and study that shows  the harmful effects of this medicine on the developing baby. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding (Safe if prescribed)

Zelgra-180 is considered as safe to use during breastfeeding. Studies suggest that this medicine does not pass into the breastmilk and a large amount and it is not harmful to the baby.

Driving (Safe)

This medicine does not affect your ability to drive. 

Allegra 180mg Tablet does not usually affect your ability to drive. However, check that zelgra-180 tablets do not make you feel sleepy or dizzy before or while driving.

Kidney (Caution)

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Liver (Safe)

Zelgra-180 tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease if your doctor prescribes you. However, still consult your doctor in case of severe liver disease.

HOW TO USE

Do not crush or break this medicine. Swallow it as a whole tablet. This medicine can be taken with or without food. Take this medicine at a fixed time daily.
